1. The boron nitride products can be used as electrical insulating materials at high temperature due to their good high temperature resistance and insulation, and have excellent thermal shock resistance.  
2. In the electronic industry, it is used as the transfer window of radar by its thermal conductivity and its penetrating performance to microwave radiation.  
3. The boron nitride products have high melting point, low thermal expansion coefficient and stable performance for almost all molten metals, and can be used as high-temperature metal smelting crucible, heat-resistant material, heat sink and heat conduction material.
4. The thermal conductivity of hot-pressed hexagonal boron nitride is equivalent to that of stainless steel, and does not change with temperature. The thermal conductivity is better than BeO below 900 ℃. Hexagonal boron nitride has low thermal expansion coefficient and elastic modulus, so it has excellent thermal stability, and can be used under repeated quenching and quenching conditions from 1500 ℃ to room temperature.
5. Boron nitride has good corrosion resistance to acid, alkali and glass slag. It neither wets nor reacts to most molten metals such as Fe, Al, Ti, Cu and Si, as well as gallium arsenide, cryolite and glass melt. Therefore, it can be used as crucible, vessel, pipeline, delivery pump and other parts for smelting non-ferrous metals, precious metals and rare metals, and can also be used as boron single crystal melting vessel, glass forming mold, horizontal continuous casting separation ring Thermocouple protection tube, etc., can also be used to manufacture containers of semiconductor materials such as zinc arsenide, gallium phosphide, and gallium phosphide, as well as heat dissipation base plates of various semiconductor packages and P-type diffusion sources for semiconductors and integrated circuits.  
6. After replacing the conventional aluminum oxide protective tube with the boron nitride thermocouple protective tube, due to its good thermal conductivity, improved temperature control accuracy, remarkable energy-saving effect of the kiln, and improved product qualification rate, it has brought better economic benefits to the enterprise.  
7. Boron nitride is both a good conductor of heat and an insulator of electricity. Its breakdown voltage at high temperature is 4-5 times that of alumina, and its dielectric constant is half that of alumina. It is still an electrical insulator at 2000 ℃, and can be used as an ultra-high temperature insulating material. Boron nitride is transparent to microwave and infrared, and can be used as a window for infrared and microwave transmission (such as radar window).  
8. Due to the existence of boron atoms, boron nitride has a strong seed absorption capacity. It can be mixed with various plastics and graphite in the atomic energy industry and can be used as a shielding material for atomic stacks.
9. Boron nitride has stable performance under ultra-high pressure and can be used as a container for pressure transfer materials. Boron nitride is the lightest ceramic material. It is very advantageous to use it as a high-temperature structural material for aircraft and spacecraft.
